Individual and Group Home Bookings
As well as individual bookings
we are able to accommodate holiday group home bookings of 6-8
clients, which can be tailored to your needs. Please contact
us for a chat. We are here to help. |
Itinerary Details
Once the client’s
holiday has been confirmed by final invoice we will send names of
the care team who will be accompanying the client on their holiday.
We will also send details of the holiday venue, dates and meeting
point times to the client together with Smile Holiday luggage tags. |
Smile Holiday carers
All Smile Holiday carers are experienced, caring
individuals with an excellent knowledge and understanding of the
unique needs of individuals with learning disabilities. Smile Holidays is registered with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and all
carers have achieved enhanced CRB registration |
Communication during the holiday
If the client owns a mobile phone family, friends and
carers can contact them
direct at any time during their holiday. Alternatively, all Smile
Holiday carers are equipped with a mobile phone (number available
when sending final details to client or from Head Office) and will be happy to take calls on
behalf of a client or to provide an update on how the holiday is
progressing. |
Holiday Photographs
Photographs will
be mailed to the client upon return of their holiday to enjoy and
share their holiday memories |

Daily client holiday record sheet
Daily client holiday record sheets will be completed
by the Smile Holiday carers detailing all activities/outings taken.
They will also outline meals and the daily general mood of the
client throughout the holiday. Daily client holiday record sheets
will be mailed to the client’s home address and Smile Holidays will
retain a copy for our records. |
Client Medication
All medication
administered during the holiday will be recorded by Smile Holiday
carers on an individual client medication sheet provided by
yourselves. |
Accident/Missing Clients
In the event of an accident occurring or a client
being reported missing a detailed on the spot Accident/Missing
Persons form will be completed. The appropriate authority and family
members will be contacted. A copy of the completed Accident/Missing
persons form will be forwarded to the client’s/family home address
and Smile Holidays will retain a copy for our records. |
Smile Mini Bus
A 15 and 17 seat mini bus is available for clients throughout their
holiday break in the United Kingdom, Belgium and France holidays.
This runs on an Operators Licence and is fully insured for this
purpose. The Principal Carer and Senior Carer hold a PSV licence. |
