An enjoyable

close to the Norfolk Broads. As well as being famous

its seaside holiday resorts,
Norfolk is also renowned for the superb Norfolk countryside.

Bure Valley Railway
is fast becoming one
of England's premier narrow gauge railways. The steam and diesel
trains pass through scenery which is as varied, interesting and
beautiful as any to be found on a railway journey in England.
The two main stations are at Aylsham and Wroxham, with three
smaller stations in between.
The Southern Comfort
Mississippi is a
double-deck paddle boat that is purpose built for the Norfolk
Broads. The boat is a luxury river cruiser, which runs from the
beautiful village of Horning, along the River Bure through the
village and out to Ranworth Broad and back, passing by lovely
old thatched houses and windmills. Just sit back, relax and
enjoy! |
We will spend our holiday in the scenic area of Le
Touquet which is on a part of the coastline of northern
France known as the "Côte d'Opale" (the "Opal Coast").
It has a long sandy beach.
Once we have met at our designated meeting points we
will travel to Folkestone and commence our journey
through the Channel Tunnel on our mini bus.
When
we arrive in France we will drive directly to
a traditional
French
farmhouse
where we will settle in before exploring our new
surroundings. The house has an extensive games room.
We will
visit a lovely French
Chateau
set in beautiful wooded countryside
and has a potager (vegetable garden).
We will enjoy
tea and home made French cakes after viewing this stunning
building
and its surrounding gardens.
Nausicaa
is a world class sea-life & marine environment centre in
Boulogne. It reflects the French fascination and concern
about the marine environment. Enjoy meeting ray-fish.
Visit the tropical lagoon where sharks bask in the clear
water and watch the sea
lions dive in the waves
