A large country house, home to the
Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. We will stroll through the
magnificent house and take in the spectacular displays of portraits,
furniture and works of art from around the world. Later we will walk
around the beautiful gardens and view the feature waterfall, café
and gift shop!
Crich Tramway Village.
Nestling high in the heart of
Derbyshire overlooking the famous
Derwent Valley. We will take a tram ride through authentic village
treet
scenes and walk through the enchanting woodland gardens.
A stop for tea
and cakes at the village café is a must!
Twycross Zoo is an 80 acre walk-through zoo with over 900 animals. Areas include the
Asian elephant enclosure, a lemur walk-through, owl aviaries, a
penguin lagoon, a spider monkey forest, giant tortoises, Zoo Babies,
a camel paddock, snow leopards and all of the great apes!
