superior lodges in single occupancy rooms and all meals and daily
excursions are included. We will enjoy visits to countryside pubs,
tea and cakes in the cafés and gift shops on all our excursions!
We begin
our holiday travelling to
Stratford Upon Avon
where we will
stay in
superior lodges
surrounded by countryside and picturesque
scenery for three nights.
Places of interests we may visit include
Cadbury’s World
to uncover a world of chocolatey delights and enjoy a fascinating day
out!
Enjoy a day visiting
The British Motor Museum
in Warwickshire to see exhibits of the
world's largest collection of historic British cars. Sit back and
relax on
The Gloucestershire &
Warwickshire Steam Railway
for a
scenic countryside train ride from Toddington station to Cheltenham
Race Course Station.
We will
then travel to The Cotswolds to enjoy a four night stay in
superior lodges in the grounds of
Blenheim Palace
in the Cotswolds
countryside. We may visit the
Motor Museum at Bourton-on-the-Water.
Enjoy a day out at
Cotswolds Wildlife Park
which is home to a fascinating
and varied collection of mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates
from all over the world. We will take a trip around the park on the
narrow gauge railway. Another day trip may be to
Blenheim Palace
which is home to
the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir
Winston Churchill. Set in 2,100 acres of beautiful parklands the
magnificent Palace is surrounded by sweeping lawns, award-winning
formal gardens and the Great Lake.
