Join us on a
two centred holiday for 7 nights staying in
South Devon lodges and
Dorset lodges. We will begin our holiday travelling to
South Devon
to superior lodges which has a bar and leisure facilities on site. Single occupancy rooms, all meals and
daily excursions are included.
We may visit
Seaton Tramway and enjoy a ride to Colyton Station to visit the gift
shop and café for a Devon afternoon cream tea! We may visit
Montacute House which is a masterpiece of Elizabethan Renaissance architecture and design. Also a visit to
Haynes Motor Museum which is the UK’s largest exhibition of classic
cars from around the world. A living and working museum, with over
400 amazing cars and bikes from nostalgic classics of the 50’s and
60’s, glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces to exciting super cars of
today, like the Jaguar XJ220.
We will then
commence our journey to our second venue staying in
superior lodges
in Dorset. Single occupancy rooms, all meals and daily
excursions are included.
Places of
interest may include Bournemouth Sealife Centre. Marvel at the
fabulous turtle, get close to the penguins and walk through the
Ocean Tunnel to view the sharks and rays! Join us aboard the
Swanage
Railway where you will experience a unique journey through six miles
of beautiful scenery passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle!
We will alight at Swanage town which overlooks the sea and wander
around the many gift shops and stop for tea and cakes. Enjoy a day
of history visiting Bovington Tank Museum with almost 300 vehicles
on exhibition from 26 countries. It is the largest collection of
tanks and the third largest collection of armoured vehicles in the
World.
There are excellent gift shops and a
visit to the cafés is a must!
